Nursing Numeracy Revision Hub

Use this hub to choose a short revision route instead of opening random questions. Each route begins with a formula explanation, continues with worked examples and finishes with practice.

Educational boundary

Use fictional or tutor-provided values only. These pages explain arithmetic and do not select, recommend, verify or administer treatment. Do not enter patient information or use DosePractice in a clinical workflow.

Route 1: dose and stock volume

Start with the Dose-to-Volume guide, then complete the twenty-question practice page and finish with the interactive quiz. Focus on ratio direction and unit matching.

Route 2: volume, rate and time

Learn the three linked quantities. Rate is volume divided by time; time is volume divided by rate. Use reverse calculations to check that the three values remain consistent.

Route 3: drops per minute

Convert hours to minutes, use the stated fictional drop factor and keep the exact answer until the exercise tells you how to round.

Route 4: mixed identification practice

Use the mixed quiz after practising each formula separately. The goal is to recognise the requested unit and choose the correct arithmetic relationship without relying on keywords alone.
