Nursing Numeracy Test Practice
Student nurses may encounter assessments described as medication maths, drug calculations, health numeracy or university numeracy tests. DosePractice provides independent arithmetic practice, not a copy of any institutional assessment.
Use fictional or tutor-provided values only. These pages explain arithmetic and do not select, recommend, verify or administer treatment. Do not enter patient information or use DosePractice in a clinical workflow.
Why university assessment formats differ
Universities may use different names, interfaces, timings, question structures, formula-sheet rules and local assessment systems. Learners should always follow their own course guidance for the actual assessment.
What the NMC requires
Current NMC programme standards require pre-registration nursing programmes to include a health numeracy assessment related to nursing proficiencies and calculation of medicines, passed at 100%. The NMC does not require every university to use an identical public question bank or identical interface.
What DosePractice provides
The account-free practice builder uses original fictional questions across foundation numeracy and common calculation structures. Learners can choose immediate feedback or an end-of-session assessment view, set a 100% personal target and keep the session in memory only.
What DosePractice does not claim
- It is not an official university assessment platform.
- It is not approved or endorsed by the NMC or a university.
- It does not predict a university assessment result.
- It does not confirm clinical competence.
- It does not reproduce protected university questions.
