How educational content is controlled
For the public beta, every calculator, guide and question bank requires recorded formula sources, version and date checks, author or reviewer fields, limitations, review dates and automated answer verification. Commercial publication and search indexing remain blocked until the outstanding owner and legal reviews are complete.
The 21 short topic-quiz questions are intentionally retained as lightweight practice. The separate 600-question nursing numeracy bank is the full practice and assessment bank, with stable question IDs, detailed worked feedback, local rotation and reporting controls. No 108-question import is required. The 600-question bank is automatically arithmetic-verified but still requires substantive owner educational and editorial review before commercial publication or search indexing. Independent external review must not be implied unless it is genuinely obtained and recorded.
Human error, drafting mistakes and technical defects can occur. DosePractice uses displayed working, automated arithmetic and regression checks, recorded sources and versions, substantive owner editorial review, user problem reporting, and a controlled rollback-capable correction process to reduce this risk. These controls reduce but cannot eliminate every error.
Every displayed practice question now carries a stable question ID and a report-this-question route. Reports identify the content item and version without automatically including the learner’s entered answer. Material corrections will be documented, regression-tested and deployed through a controlled rollback-capable release process.
AI-assisted development
Code, question templates, explanations, tests and documentation have been developed with substantial AI assistance. AI is not treated as an author, clinician or reviewer. Read the full methodology and AI-assistance disclosure, also summarised in the Terms.
Privacy-first assessment
The expanded assessment keeps typed answers in page memory by default. Optional saved summaries contain only score and topic totals. Read the privacy-by-design promise.
Solo-owner governance records
The source package includes a development-provenance record, arithmetic-only wording standard, seven calculator qualification self-assessments and a held MHRA enquiry draft. These records support owner review but do not constitute independent clinical validation or regulatory approval.
